Actually, I LOVE ballet class. I, apparently, have a serious passion for ballet. I'm not good at all yet, but...I've never wanted to be good at something this bad in my entire life.
I am improving reallyfast though, probably because I have such determination. :3
I'll only appeal to niche audiences, says my demographic research, so s'all good.
Y'know what it's all about, anyway -- screw the audiences, we do it all for the love of the craft. ;3

LOL. Talk about coincidence! The only thing I've read by Lian Hearn is Across the Nightingale Floor, which is the first book in an Asian-inspired fantasy trilogy. John Marco wrote a nameless (?) trilogy, the first book in which being The Eyes of God. I haven't gotten around to the other two, mainly 'cause all the local libraries are on strike. D:
